SUSTAINABILITY

The sustainability of the planet is a current topic of global concern. To this end, Recanto Del Mare developed its sustainability policy based on three pillars: environmental, sociocultural and economic, adopting indispensable practices for raising awareness and preserving the natural beauty of our paradise.

In addition to offering rest and reconnection with our Paradise of the Atlantic with crystal clear waters, Recanto Del Mare works with a commitment to sustainable development, embracing as a whole the local appreciation and working with ecotourism activities that provide a conscious stay.

GOOD PRACTICES ADOPTED BY HOSTING:

* Energy-saving LED lamps throughout the property;

* Presence sensors in external and internal areas, corridors and bathrooms;

* Energy savers stop electricity consumption when the access card is removed from the switch as soon as guests leave the room;

* We use photovoltaic solar energy as a renewable and clean energy source that uses solar radiation to generate electricity;

* We use biodegradable cleaning products;

PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION:

* Environmental awareness initiatives with employees, guests and the local community;

* Information on Sustainable Tourism in the guest's accommodation encouraging them about awareness actions. The accommodations have an Ecological Message to raise awareness of water and electricity consumption;

* Incentives for guests to learn about the Accommodation Sustainability Policy.

Finally, we also highlight some of our goals:

ENVIRONMENTAL:

* Reduce water consumption by 3.5% / per guest / per year;

* Reduce 5% energy consumption / per guest / per year;

* Reduce solid waste by 5%.

SOCIOECONOMIC:

* Implement and monitor a Sustainability Management System, aiming to obtain better results, in addition to benefiting from the quality of the service offered, it will also be contributing to the improvement of the community, as well as helping to preserve our planet;

* Keep guest satisfaction above 80%;

* Respect 100% the current legislation;

* Through sustainable practices in our operations together with guests, employees, suppliers and the community, we will be contributing to sustainable development and thus for a better world, preserving the local culture and keeping our traditions alive.
